After getting the entire nation to dance Bolo Ta Ra Ra and Dardi Rab Rab, Daler Mehndi recently launched Ho Jayegi Balle Balle. As the name Suggests, he's not straying from the tried and tested bhangra-pop formula which has worked so well for him.

The man has come a long way from his frist live performance at Jaunpur in Uttar Pradesh when he was barely 11. He now performs to packed houses from USA to Kazakhstan and even gets invited to perform a special on an Amitabh Bachchan comeback film. And for the happening weddings in the country, a performance by Dalker Mehndi is de rigeur. Never mind that the man charges a pretty packet for a few hours of singing. For ho Jayegi Balle Balle, Daler has teamed up yet again with Jawahar Wattal, the music producer for Megasound, who had worked with him on his earlier albums. And the video, another high octane production has more of the Daler formula that goes into making a countdown chart favourite. Read lots of pretty girls, flowing robes and jazzy costumes.
