Daler Mehndi performs at National Mela

The King of Pop Daler Mehndi performed during the concluding function of the  National Crafts Mela at Kalagram in Mani Majra on Sunday.

The electrifying performance made the crowd roar.

The concluding day of the seventh Chandigarh National Crafts Mela at Kalagram witnessed an unprecedent rush of visitors. The fair was held on the theme ‘’North to North East-Kashmir to Kohima” this year.

There were several other Folk Artistes from various states who presented dances and folklores.

The fair, a joint venture of the Chandigarh Administration and the North Zone Cultural Centre (NZCC), brought together the culture, crafts and cuisines of both regions.

The gaddi dance of Himachal Pradesh, bihu of Assam, ghasiari of Uttrakhand were presented today.

Mahavir Gudu from Haryana presented Haryanavi songs. His team also presented a “khoria” dance.
